Evie Dariya Tasiou was born in Athens, Greece. She began her training in Alternative Therapies with the intention of offering relief to her family and friends from everyday physical and mental fatigue. Thus, in 2004 she decided to pursue studies in the alternative field, focusing on Ayurvedic Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Chair Massage, as well as the academic study of Indian Body and Head Massage, Pregnancy Massage, and Advanced Tachyon Technology U.S.A. at the University of Integrated Sciences in California, under the guidance of her instructor Michalis Pariboda Christopoulos.

Her path quickly led her to a deep inner search and, in 2006, she experienced Usui Reiki energy healing for the first time. This experience inspired her to become a Reiki Master Teacher.

In 2018, her friends and partners from abroad asked her to create a base in Chania, Crete, for people who wish to enjoy alternative holidays, with an emphasis on natural beauty, wellness, and alternative therapies.

In 2019, the idea of Cylinder Healing & Wellness was born, with a focus on alternative therapies and the dissemination of healing Reiki through professional training at the Cylinder Healing & Wellness Academy, which is located in a privileged and peaceful area a few kilometers outside Chania – in Satyros Akrotiri, between the emblematic caretta-caretta beach Pachia Ammos and the famous Zorbas beach.

Since 2016, Evie Dariya has been living in Chania, offering treatments for pain management, anxiety and stress relief, as well as for relaxation, chakra balancing and the treatment of insomnia.

Life became filled with positive energy when the way to communicate with the self was discovered, along with the daily offering of gifts such as love, companionship in offering help, experiences and emotions. This happened when the everyday environment changed and getting to know new people full of positive energy became a priority, filling the book of life with many pages of positive experiences.

MY PHILOSOPHY

I studied at the specialized School of Psychiatrists and Psychologists at A.A.S.S – Union of Advanced Studies and Sciences in Greece, of the Psaraki–Dolianiti Association, completing my thesis at the Athens Psychiatric Hospital from 1989 to 1993. I obtained certification as a trainer of trainees in Athens in 2001 and a certification in counseling and life coaching from the University of the Aegean in 2020.

In parallel with my professional career, I worked for almost 35 years as a senior manager in a major British bank, where, in the final years before my retirement in 2013, I served as Human Resources Director, responsible for managing and coordinating negotiations at the European Works Councils based in London. At the same time, I maintained a private alternative psychotherapy practice from 1993 to 2012, specializing in Hans Carl Leuner's "Guided Affective Imagery." A significant part of my life was devoted to neurological conditions such as transverse myelitis and motor paralysis, a personal experience that led me to long-term research into faradic currents, including trips to the Soviet Union and various parts of the world, where I met the internationally renowned healer Juna Davitashvili. I experienced firsthand the benefits of an alternative healing philosophy, in contrast to Western medicine, which promotes a holistic approach that respects all aspects of the human being.

After this revelation, I recognized my mission: to help people free themselves from their microcosm, explore the macrocosm, and discover their higher self.

During my stay in Moscow, I trained for 9 months in the alternative approach of Pranic Healing and attended acupuncture courses. For the past 5 years I have been working as an alternative therapist and transcendental researcher, focusing on the theory of quantum physics and Tachyon theory. I collaborate with the exceptional alternative therapist Evie Dariya Tasiou in Crete as a scientific associate at Cylinder Healing & Wellness Co.

My main focus is the communication of our unconscious self in a language that is not connected to our mother tongue, but to symbols and illustrations of primary memories and traumatic experiences that lie in the depths of our unconscious. I seek to reveal worlds that are familiar to the unconscious but ignored or forgotten by our rational brain, bringing to the surface a hidden treasure of knowledge and limitless potential.

When this stage is reached through guided hypnagogic imagery, the meaning of "Synthesis" is learned, along with how this process can be beneficial for the rest of life. It initially guides towards safety and stability, and then towards secure personal development, teaching how to activate the positive emotions that connect with social partners and how to disconnect from the negative emotions that have led to loneliness and isolation.

And the journey begins… as long as there is the desire and determination for a change of perspective.
